Does my 350-page novel count as a low-content book on kdp. I wanted to schedule a release for it but kdp won't let me since it's a low-content book. I was honestly gonna try and cheat the system and set my book as a large print that way I could set a release date. What should I do?

Yet, you found lots of examples that have not been banned by Amazon. They might not be selling, but that's true of nearly every self published book on Amazon.

KDP Amazon wants the publishing rights for themselves. So your book is theirs and not yours anymore. You can't sell elsewhere. Am I right ?? Where can I find free images ?? Pexels, Pixabay, and even Public Domain images are not free. AI tools scared me by saying that I have to investigate. How must I investigate ??

I actually made a addiction recovery manual on kdp. It took roughly 3 months. Followed all the instructions. Not a single fucking sale. I don't believe what you are saying. Maybe colouring books for people but im not a colouring book person.

Each time I watch one of your videos I'm re-motivated to create more low/medium content books and see if can generate an income from self publishing.

Andy Weir started off just posting his stories on his own website for free but people asked for them in ebook formats and then they wanted a way to pay him for the stories. He wrote the Martian chapter by chapter, uploading each chapter to his site before continuing with the next chapter, like Charles Dickens and other authors back in the day when serialised novels were really popular in magazines.

I enjoy watching your videos and have found them helpful as I build my self publishing business. Would you share more of your personal journey. Are you making money in kdp or just making money talking about it on UA-cam? Can you show us any of your old covers that you made and realize weren’t good enough? Can you compare them to some of the covers you have on current books? I’d like to take your course but I need to feel confident that you are actually achieving what you are discussing.

When applying for this platform, most people already have an existing amazon account. Is it OK to use that account the one you use to buy anything from Amazon. Or do you have to create a separate account that could allow you to become a seller?

I have a desk drawer book (not low content), written w dumby pencil sketches. My career was put on hold bc I had a stroke, my son died of cancer and my wife got sick. My organization and motivation skills seem to be affected, but im trying. My son had some great story topics, too. With the 250 yr anniv of USAs founding coming in 2026 i have a reason to hustle.

To get a copy of your created journal, I'm guessing you just need to buy one from your page? Or are you sent a sample by Amazon?

I just read that you can't publish coloring books on Amazon because there is no way to color on a Kindle unless you take a Sharpie to the screen. What I read said uploading a coloring book to Amazon would get your account banned. What's up?

I was all set to begin with KDP but before I started I did an online search for user reviews. I found an abundance of 1 star reviews for KDP. Most reviewers reported that Amazon had terminated their account and were withholding the royalties. Can you tell me your thoughts on this?

Question: if they close your account in kpd, can you still publish the same books or journal book in other site?

Every bot system is not good. I expirienced something similar on instagram. My account was blocked and I did not even know why and i did not get any respond from instagram. So fuck the bots. And also fuck the companies that really do not care about creators. The rules are not clear, that is why the bots terminated accounts even good self publishers !

Thanks for this ❤ I was excited to get started, and of course I made the mistake of listening to a bunch of negative nancies on UA-cam... and was completely deflated. But something I noticed is that the people ragging on this business make absolutely no mention of the research they did, the marketing they did, and what efforts they put in to make their books sell. Probably because they simply published books and crossed their fingers.

Most of the platforms you mentioned above don't allow coloring books. If they do allow coloring books you have to resize every image. I have 22 coloring books and to redo them all would be a chore. can you just do a vid on who DOES allow coloring books as a digital download. Thank you
